The short version
  • The Braylin Selvig Privacy Policy still applies. This adds what's specific to Sports.
  • Sports stores your name, username and picture from your account, your settings, and your fantasy league activity. Not your email or password.
  • People in your leagues see your name, picture, team, moves and chat. Your settings are private.
  • Team logos and player photos load from ESPN, which sees your IP address. No ads, analytics or trackers.
  • Delete your Sports data any time in Settings. Deleting your Braylin Selvig account deletes it too.

This summary is here to help. The full text below is what actually applies.

1. About this notice

This notice covers Sports at sports.braylinselvig.com, run by Braylin Selvig ("we," "us," or "our"). It adds Sports-specific details to the Braylin Selvig Privacy Policy, which still applies in full, including your rights, how we secure data, the age requirement, and where data is processed. Sports runs its own server, so it keeps its own records about your use of Sports, described here.

2. What Sports gets from your account

When you sign in, and with the access you approve on braylinselvig.com, Sports receives a unique ID for your account, your display name, your username, and your profile picture. Sports saves these and refreshes them each time you sign in.

Sports may be allowed to see your email address, but it doesn't store it or use it to contact you. Sports never sees your password.

3. What Sports stores

  • Your profile copy: the account details above, plus when you first and last signed in.
  • Settings: your favorite teams, theme and accent color, how your Today page is laid out, whether fantasy is turned on, and whether you've finished setup.
  • Fantasy data: leagues you create or join and their settings, your team name and colors, draft picks and draft queue, rosters, lineups, adds and drops, trade offers and notes, matchup results, and league chat messages.
  • Agreement records: which version of the Sports Terms and this notice you accepted, and when.

4. How we use it

  • To sign you in and keep you signed in.
  • To show your personalized Today page, favorite teams, and colors.
  • To run your fantasy leagues: drafts, lineups, scoring, standings, trades, and chat.
  • To keep Sports secure and fair, enforce the Sports Terms, and fix problems.

5. Who can see what

  • People in your leagues can see your display name and picture, your team, roster, lineups, draft picks, trades, adds and drops, and your messages in that league's chat.
  • Anyone with a league's invite link can see the league's name, size, scoring type, and how many managers have joined.
  • Only you can see your settings and favorite teams.

Scores, stats, and news pages don't show anything about you to anyone else.

6. Other services involved

  • Vercel hosts Sports and keeps basic request logs.
  • Supabase hosts the Sports database, kept separate from your account data.
  • ESPN. Our servers request scores, stats, and news from ESPN's public feeds; those requests don't include anything about you. Team logos and player photos load in your browser directly from ESPN's image servers, so ESPN receives your IP address and browser details when you view them, under its own privacy policy.
  • News publishers receive the usual information from your browser when you follow a headline to their site.

Sports' fonts are served from Sports itself. We don't sell your information, share it for advertising, or use analytics or advertising trackers on Sports.

7. Cookies and browser storage

  • sports_session: a cookie that keeps you signed in to Sports for up to 30 days. Signing out removes it.
  • sports_oauth: a short-lived cookie used only while you sign in, removed when sign-in finishes or after 10 minutes.
  • sports-theme: your light or dark mode choice, saved in your browser's local storage.

8. How long we keep it and how to remove it

We keep your Sports data while you have an account, so your settings and leagues are there when you come back.

You can delete your Sports data at any time from Settings, or by emailing support@braylinselvig.com from the email on your account. If you delete your Braylin Selvig account, braylinselvig.com tells Sports and we delete your Sports records automatically, and in any case within 30 days.

Deleting removes your profile copy, settings, agreement records, and league chat messages, and any league no one else is in. In leagues you shared with other people, the league's history (such as past matchups and trades) stays so the league still makes sense to them, but your team is handed to a CPU manager under a new name, your name is removed from the league's activity, and another manager becomes commissioner if you were.

Deleted data can remain in our providers' backups and logs for a limited time, as the Braylin Selvig Privacy Policy explains.

9. Changes to this notice

When we make a material change, we'll update the effective date and version above and ask you to agree again the next time you use Sports while signed in.
